MAXON Telecom Showcases HVDC Turnkey Solutions at ELECS KOREA 2026

MAXON Telecom is strengthening its global competitiveness by unveiling its comprehensive HVDC submarine cable turnkey solutions.

The company is participating in ELECS KOREA 2026, held at COEX from February 4 to 6, where it is showcasing its integrated submarine cable solutions and advanced technological capabilities.

ELECS KOREA 2026 is a premier global exhibition covering power transmission and distribution, power generation, and renewable energy solutions, under the theme “Connecting Grids, Securing Energy.” Approximately 220 companies from around the world are participating.

At the exhibition, MAXON Telecom presents total solutions for large-scale offshore wind and next-generation energy infrastructure projects under the concept:
“From Coastal Networks to Global Energy Grids, MAXON Powers the Future.”

The company is also highlighting its latest R&D achievements, including eco-friendly materials and next-generation cable technologies.

At the center of its booth, MAXON Telecom is showcasing prototype 525kV-class HVDC submarine cables, designed for high-capacity, long-distance power transmission. The exhibition also introduces MAXON Marine Solutions, a specialized offshore installation subsidiary, along with its advanced cable-laying capabilities and next-generation Cable Laying Vessel (CLV) development plans.

By placing HVDC turnkey solutions at the forefront, MAXON Telecom demonstrates its readiness to participate in major national and international energy infrastructure projects.

Furthermore, the company emphasizes its ability to execute the full submarine cable value chain, including design, manufacturing, transportation, installation, engineering, and maintenance. A scale model of its offshore cable-laying vessel and next-generation submarine cable production facility is also on display, featuring capabilities of up to 640kV HVDC and 400kV HVAC systems.

In addition, MAXON Telecom is showcasing a portfolio of eco-friendly products and innovative technologies developed through collaboration with global research institutions and industry partners, reinforcing its leadership in sustainable energy infrastructure.

CEO Kim Won-seok stated,
