MAXON Industrial ECO Switch (Single Pair Ethernet, 6-Port)

The MAXON Industrial ECO Switch is designed to enable efficient and cost-effective Ethernet communication in industrial environments, especially for long-distance and decentralized applications. The device features 2 × RJ45 Fast Ethernet ports (10/100BASE-TX) and 4 × Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) ports (10BASE-T1L).

With Single Pair Ethernet technology, the switch supports data transmission at 10 Mbps over distances up to 1,000 meters, using a single shielded twisted pair cable. This significantly reduces cabling complexity and cost, making it ideal for integrating remote sensors and field devices into industrial networks.

The switch supports auto-negotiation, allowing seamless plug-and-play operation with connected Ethernet devices. The SPE ports are designed for quick and secure connection using lever-actuated terminals, ensuring fast and reliable installation.

This solution is particularly suitable for connecting decentralized, Ethernet-enabled sensors and devices, as well as for replacing traditional communication methods such as DSL modems or fiber links when used in combination with SPE media converters.
