MAXOM Telecom announced on the 14th that it has launched its latest high-flex industrial USB cable, engineered to withstand extreme repetitive motion in industrial environments.
The new product delivers high-speed data transmission with exceptional durability, maintaining stable performance without breakage even after more than one million bending cycles. Compared to conventional imported products from Germany and Taiwan, which typically fail after 300,000 to 400,000 bends, MAXOM’s solution offers up to three times longer operational lifespan.
This development marks a significant step forward in strengthening technological competitiveness and localization, especially as demand continues to rise for highly reliable communication cables in advanced industrial automation systems.
The cable is designed for widespread application in automated production environments, including semiconductor manufacturing, display systems, and next-generation battery production lines. It is also ideal for equipment requiring continuous motion, such as IP cameras, CCTV systems, and IoT devices.
The product has been certified under international standards by the Korea Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA), demonstrating outstanding performance across more than 10 key criteria, including durability, signal integrity, insulation resistance, contact resistance, shock resistance, and vibration tolerance.
The cable was developed through a strategic collaboration between MAXOM Telecom and Kangwon Electronics. MAXOM Telecom led the design and manufacturing process, while Kangwon Electronics enhanced the product’s practicality by incorporating real-world customer requirements and market feedback.
“With the rapid expansion of smart factories and industrial automation, the demand for highly durable and reliable data cables continues to grow,” said a representative of MAXOM Telecom. “We remain committed to delivering advanced data transmission solutions tailored for next-generation industrial environments.”
